Accessibility statement
CareLoop is committed to making the platform accessible to everyone, including the carers, managers and family members who rely on it daily. We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 AA across all our public and in-app surfaces.
What we do
- Full keyboard navigation — every interactive element is reachable without a mouse.
- ARIA labels and landmark regions on all pages for screen-reader users.
- Colour contrast of at least 4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for UI components and graphical objects.
- Light and dark themes, both meeting contrast requirements.
- Resizable text up to 200% without loss of functionality.
- Focus rings that are visible against every background.
- Form errors announced to assistive tech with descriptive text.
Known issues
We’re tracking accessibility refinements in our public roadmap. Currently:
- The training video player will gain transcripts in Q2 2026 (in progress).
- Calendar drag-to-reschedule is mouse-first — keyboard equivalent is coming Q2 2026.
